Cogebanque has taken Gisubizo Loan Express to Northern Province as Farmers Race goes to Musanze town. Farmers Race held on Saturday 23rd November 2019, was the 7th edition of annual Rwanda Cycling Cup of which Cogebanque is one of major sponsors.
The race attracted local teams including Les Amis Sportifs, Rwamagana based team sponsored by Cogebanque.
Riders made laps in Musanze town along 6.3 km track from La Paillotte Restaurent – ADEPR – Mosquee – Mpenge Road – Sunrise School – Centre Fatima – Police – WASAC – Food Market – Virunga Hotel – La Paillotte Restaurent.
The race saw women making 12 laps covering 75.6 km, Men juniors made 15 laps covering 94.5km while Men Elite&U23 made 18 laps covering 113.4km before crossing the finishing line.
As the race came to close, Eric Muhoza from Les Amis Sportifs won the race in Men Junior’s Category .
Diane Ingabire from Benediction Club emerged winner in Women category while Didier Munyaneza from Benediction Excell Energy won the race in Men Elite&U23.
As the race was underway, Cogebanque sensitized Musanze residents coming to witness the race on a revised personal loan facility dubbed “Gisubizo Loan express”.
