Cogebanque has taken Gisubizo Express Loan to Muhanga residents as the 6th edition of Rwanda Cycling Cup 2019 went to Muhanga town on Saturday.
Dubbed Muhanga circuit, race of which Cogebanque is a main sponsor attracted 11 teams including Les Amis Sportif sponsored by Cogebanque.
Racers in women and men junior categories set off from 9:30 while men Elite&U23 set off from 11am.
Cyclists making laps in Muhanga town along 3 km track from Station Engen- Havana Bar- SKOL- Station Kobil-Muhanga district offices- Police station- Community Tele Centre- ALTM Industries Development Ltd- Muhanga bus terminal- ICK- Station Engen.
As the race came to close, Emmanuel Nzayikorera from Benediction Cycling Club won in men junior category, Diane Ingabire from the same team won in women’s category while Uhiriwe Byiza Renus from Benediction Excell Energy won the race in Men Elite&U23.
After handing over prizes, Cogebanque Head of Marketing and Product Development, Antoine Iyamuremye said ‘it was of great value to see the race going to enthusiastic spectators in Muhanga district. The fact that riders made laps in Muhanga town gave them enough time to witness the race closer to their doors’.
