Hundreds of guests including diplomats were on Friday July 10 treated to a grand launch of the Century Park, the first of its kind in the country. The Century Park that will host a world class Boutique Hotel, a 5-star Sheraton Hotel among other modern facilities is located in the upscale suburb of Nyarutarama in Kigali city.
Apart from the fact that the attractive discounts offered to prospective buyers appealed to several clients, they are a true testimony that Century Park has given a new shape to the Real Estate sector of Rwanda. Excitement descended the place as the Emcee announced the search for the three lucky winners for the discounts; a chance that was open to every guest by getting a free ticket to enter the competition. Everybody got but only three won.
In his remarks the Managing Director of Century Real Estate, the selling agents Charles Haba, said that their buildings are tailor- made and are constructed in accordance to the customers tastes and preference.
“We build according to the customers’ specifications – we listen to what our clients want and we do exactly that,” Haba said.
Century Park is a premium development located in the splash neighbourhood of Nyarutaramain Kigali. It sits on a big chunk of land, which is approximately thirty acres.
Haba said the project, which is the first of its kind in Kigali will be home to luxury villas, executive apartments and a wide range of recreational facilities, all within a natural park setting with scenic views, access to an artificial lake and Kigali’s only golf club.
In the drive to have a one stop centre, Haba added that a state-of-the-art Boutique hotel will complement theSheraton.
The five year project whose second phase is already underway was planned to be complete after three phases. This second phase will run between 12-18 months.
Speaking at the launch on Friday, July 10, 2015at the new facility, the Managing Director of KCB – Rwanda, Maurice K. Toroitich said as a bank they are ready to enter partnership with any potential buyers on their journey to achieving economic growth in the East African region.
Toroitich said KCB would help in terms of mortgage financing, an offer open to all prospective buyers.
“I encourage anyone to buy these houses KCB is willing to help in terms of funds,” he said.
Officials at the Century Park ascertained that they will offer a discount of five per cent to customers that will be able to pay at least ten per cent before the end of August this year.
During the launch that was attended by members of the business community and diplomats three lucky guests won discounts of USD 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000.
