S.T.O.P. Ltd – Local Specialist in Electrical and Mechanical Infrastructure

S.T.O.P. Ltd is a local company offering innovative, world-class electrical and mechanical consulting and contracting services for customers in Rwanda.

Founded in 2006, S.T.O.P .Ltd specializes in the design, implementation and maintenance of high- and medium-voltage electricity distribution systems as well as in providing, installing and maintaining all forms of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Committed to state-of-the-art technologies, S.T.O.P .Ltd is making a significant contribution to upgrading and expanding Rwanda’s power grid.

“We partner with European, China, Africa and other suppliers, of electrical materials, and we have completed around 17 projects for a total of around 500 km of installed medium-voltage power lines and around 700 km of lower-voltage lines. We have provided power connections for over 20,000 households so far,” says Gilbert Katabarwa , the Executive Director.

S.T.O.P. corporate customers in Rwanda include Inyange beverage, Skol brewery, among others.

In addition to power lines, S.T.O.P. Ltd portfolio includes air-conditioning and heating systems, fire-protection and security infrastructure, transformers, solar hot-water heaters, transmission towers and more.

Looking to the future, S.T.O.P. Ltd aims to get involved in building small hydropower plants and factories.
