UAP Insurance Rwanda signs partnership with Kiyovu Sport Company Ltd

UAP Insurance has signed a partnership deal with Kiyovu Sports commonly known as SC Kiyovu starting November 6^th, 2019. Through the partnership, both brands committed to joining efforts in educating and protecting the Rwandan community, support the growth of the football industry and the country’s economic growth in general.

As part of the partnership, UAP Insurance Rwanda will be showcasing its brand along with the Club’s brand in all football matches.

Ms. Annie Nibishaka, UAP Managing Director, on behalf of the entire UAP team committed to

support the expenses of the ongoing Rwanda Football league running until May 2020. “Through this partnership, our two organizations commit to supporting the growth of the football industry and hence, a remarkable impact in boosting the country’s economy.”

Kiyovu Sports is stationed in Kigali and receives a large percentage of its funding from Nyarugenge district and fan-base. Bushayija Leonard, Kiyovu Sports President says UAP support will contribute to the growth of the team not only financially but in the general activities of the club. “This partnership with UAP Insurance Rwanda will not only be vital in supporting the daily expenses of Kiyovu Sports, but other activities aimed at developing the club as well.”

Kiyovu Sport was the first footballclub to join the Rwandan football league between 1948 and 1957. The team currently competes in theRwanda National Football League and plays its home games at Mumena or Amahoro Stadium. TheClub’s reserve team currently competes in the Rwandan Third Division. Its proudly reporting to havewon five leagues titles, three trophies, and one super cup.
