It was all pomp and glamour as Riders Lounge, a regional luxury bar/restaurant chain, officially opened its doors in Kigali early November.
It is the fourth outlet in the region, and the first in Rwanda.
Riders Lounge is located on the second floor of Kigali Heights, just opposite the Kigali Convention Centre. With black, grey and red leather seats, and wall decorations of Harley Davidson motorcycles, it is an ideal hangout for sophisticated people looking for a good time in an elegant setting.
With lovers of Kigali’s night life excited about the arrival of Riders Lounge, the turnout on the opening night was higher than expected. It was officially opened by Kenya’s High Commissioner to Rwanda, John Mwangemi, who noted that the arrival of Riders Lounge in Kigali showed it is continuously branding itself as a high-class regional entertainment lounge and restaurant.
Other distinguished guests in attendance were Oliver Wonekha, Uganda’s High Commissioner to Rwanda, and Dennis Karera, the Managing Director of Kigali Heights.
Riders Lounge provides top-notch hospitality, giving customers fast and efficient services with detailed food and drinks menus.
The restaurant offers a wide range of breakfasts, salads, soups, starters and bites, platters, main courses and desserts, while the executive bar will leave you spoilt for choice with soft drinks, fresh juice, local and imported beer, cider, wine, sparkling champagne, aperitifs, gin, vodka, premium and deluxe whiskey, and cocktails.
And the drinks menu gives detailed descriptions of the available beverages, plus recommended pairings.
So when visiting Riders Lounge, you’d better plan for a long night.
