A special Christmas edition of the monthly Kigali Farmers’ And Artisans’ Market will be held on 25th November, from 1 to 6pm, at Brioche in Kacyiru.
Guests will be spoilt for choice for their personal, home and gift shopping from the over 60 vendors showcasing Made-in-Rwanda products.
Throughout the afternoon, Afrogroov from Roots house will be keeping everyone in high spirits with their entertainment and there will be plenty of food, drinks and kid’s activities.
Part of the proceeds from the market will go to Hands Of Mothers, an NGO for the empowerment of women and young adults through education and economic development.
The Kigali Farmers’ And Artisans’ Market was founded by entrepreneur Florence Mwashimba with as main goal to bridge the gap between local farmers, artisans and consumers. It also wants to create a community where support is given to businesses that produce quality products made in Rwanda, while at the same time creating a family-friendly atmosphere that encourages community building.
The market is held every month in a different location in Kigali to ensure that all citizens can come and experience it. In addition, the market organises small business forums to help SMEs and home industries grow.
