Access Bank savers to win big in 6-month promo

Access Bank officials present the saving promotion.

Access Bank Rwanda has launched a savings promotion ‘Save Today, Take Tomorrow’ in which customers can win lots of exciting prizes, including a grand prize of Rwf 4 million.

The bank’s managing director, Jean Claude Karayenzi, said the ‘Twisungane Dutsinde’ promo is a family saving scheme to encourage family and friends to save together and enjoy exclusive rewards that include increasing interest rates.

“At Access Bank, we strive to launch an innovative product every quarter. This latest promo is in line with the government’s goal of 100% financial inclusion,” he noted.

He urged Rwandans to save through the bank and take advantage of the promotion, since apart from the exciting prizes that can be won, saving is an important step towards achieving your dreams.

“In order to get your dream house, you need to start by saving,” Karayenzi explained.

He added that through the promotion, people will be encouraged to save at attractive interest rates which will vary between 4% and 7.5% depending on the amount saved. In addition, clients will receive the interest on a quarterly basis, unlike the conventional annual format.

Family and Friends Account

The Access Bank saving promotion will run for 6 months, from July 24, 217 to January 24, 2018. The campaign is accompanied by a new savings product, the Family and Friends Account, which promotes collective saving by offering rewards and competitive interest rates from 6.5% to 7.5%.

The Family and Friends Account is open to groups of 3 to 6 people.

Prizes to be won during the ‘Twisungane Dutsinde’ promotion include family holidays in Dubai, cash rewards, shopping coupons, DSTV, airtime and mobile phones.

The Family and Friends savings account adds to Access Bank’s existing savings accounts Teta Kiddies Account, Women Saving Account and Ordinary Saving Account that have been generating interest from 4% to 6%.
