3 Heineken consumers to watch Champions League final on luxury cruise in Greece

After a week-long search, the Mystery Man has found the 3 lucky Heineken consumers who will watch the UEFA Champions Final aboard a luxury cruise in Athens, Greece.

On Wednesday night at Pili-Pili, after the semi-final game between Real and Atletico Madrid, the draw to decide the winners of the promotion took place, and Emmanuel Rukundo, Jean D’Amour Umuhoza, and Ian Munana won the tickets.

To qualify for the promotion, which Bralirwa has been running since May 4th, you had to buy two Heineken beers in one of the ten participating bars in Kigali, to receive a participation form on which you had to predict the finalist of the UEFA Champions League.

Hundreds of people tried their luck in the hope of winning a trip to Athens, Greece, but after the 1st leg of the semi-finals, only two dozen people were still in the running for the 3 seats aboard the luxury cruise.

And after Real Madrid’s 4-2 win on aggregate over Atletico, 3 lucky Heineken consumers who predicted this outcome won the once in a lifetime trip.

“Heineken slogan is ‘Open Your World’, so this is an opportunity to open the world of our consumers by allowing them to travel beyond their borders,” explained Mark Nkera, brand manager at Bralirwa.

“Heineken is all about opening borders, the reason we’re in more than 200 countries across the globe,” added Julius Kayoboke, Marketing Director of Bralirwa. “The more experiences you have, the more rounded in character you become. That’s what Heineken is all about.”

The winners are due to set sail on June 3rd.
